My wife and I grew up listening to a new song, Let’s Go Surf’n, written by the Beach Boys just a few miles from our homes. We took it seriously. She cut her teeth a block away from the point at Lunada Bay, Palos Verdes Estates, and going on surfing safaris up and down the California coast with her surfer chick friends. Here is a photo of her preparing for a safari with an early short board. I spent my childhood in Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Porto. 

The advent of removable fins, although a huge breakthrough in surfing performance and ride shaping, has unfortunately escaped many surfers. We want to remedy that. Our goal is to open a new window to those surfers and show them how something as simple and inexpensive as swapping out fins can revolutionize their ride.
